MKE – Consolidation is used to perform time-dependent settlement analysis below foundations, embankments, and surface loads. For the input external loads, mechanical, and hydraulic boundary conditions, the analysis tracks the development of displacements, stresses, strains, plastic zones, pore water pressure distribution, groundwater tables, and water flow through the model.
Consolidation is an add-on module to the MKE software for analyzing general geotechnical problems.
