The Pilot program is used for calculating the vertical and horizontal load-bearing capacity of individual piles. This calculation can be performed using several analytical methods and numerically via the spring method. The program uses a load-settlement curve from which the pile settlement can be determined. The program also calculates the longitudinal and transverse reinforcement of the reinforced concrete pile. It is also possible to check the load-bearing capacity of wooden and steel piles.
The vertical bearing capacity and settlement of piles can also be determined directly from the results of field tests (CPT, SPT) in the Pilot CPT program.Groups of piles or micropiles connected by a rigid plate can be calculated in the Pile Group program. The calculation can be performed analytically for cohesive and non-cohesive soils and numerically using the spring method. When using the spring method, the load-bearing capacities of individual piles or micropiles can be checked in the Pilot or Micropilot programs. Data is automatically transferred to both programs.
Pilot groups can be calculated directly from field test data in the Pilot CPT program. The Micropilot program calculates micropiles subjected to normal forces and moments. It can check the load-bearing capacity for vertical loads on the pile and pile head. The program also performs buckling checks and takes corrosion effects into account.
