Settlement calculation of soil layers, e.g., under embankments or additional loads, can be solved in the Settlement program. 1D consolidation calculation can also be performed in this program. For more complex tasks, settlement can be calculated using a numerical method in the FEM program, where any load can be calculated. With the additional FEM Consolidation module, consolidation calculation with vertical and horizontal water flows can be performed numerically.
After deformation of the retaining structure in the foundation pit, the soil behind the retaining structure is subject to settlement. The calculation can be performed in the program "Sheet Pile Wall Check.".
Ground settlement calculations can be performed in the "Underground Losses" program, including the impact of settlement on structures located in an over-loaded area. Settlement can also be determined numerically in the "MKE" program, the main tunnel calculation program.
